WQNH-LP Ceases Broadcast Operation
Written by WQNH on October 3, 2023
On October 3rd, 2023, New Hampshire Community Radio, Inc. decided to shutdown WQNH-LP broadcast operations and has left the air. On the evening of October 3rd WQNH-LP shut-down its transmitter located at Saddleback Mountain and has left the air permanently and filed license cancelation with the FCC. All broadcast operations including phone, email etc. have ceased and the website will be shutdown. The decision to shut down operations was due to the economy and changing trends in media consumption. During its broadcast operation it has been a pleasure for New Hampshire Community Radio, Inc. to serve the greater Deerfield listening area through WQNH-LP. Thank you for your listenership.

Unfortunately, the license has been canceled by the FCC, so we can’t come back. Also lack of listeners, income, fees and rents make it impossible.
The low power allowed lacks coverage that listeners want without noise, interference, etc. Thank you for your comment and interest!
